Join us on our US tour!
The team at GEMM-16 is excited to bring our cutting edge electrolysis technology across the USA.
You'll be at the forefront of permanent hair removal with unmatched efficiency, comfort and reliability.
How does GEMM-16 work?
GEMM-16 uses galvanic electrolysis that causes a chemical decomposition of the hair growing cells. Electrolysis is a proven method in the removal of unwanted hair using a gentle electrical current to destroy the hair follicle, for lasting results.
A negative current is applied to the hair follicle and any moisture present in the follicle is converted into sodium hydroxide (commonly known as lye) over a few minutes. Lye is highly reactive in the presence of organic compounds (in this case, skin).
Fortunately, the amount of lye produced is minuscule and highly targeted to the area it is intended to work on beneath the skin and continues to work for some time after the hair is removed. This kills any cells that survive after the procedure as well.

The results are the closest thing to magic I could have ever imagined.

Having had a full face of hair that I needed to shave twice a day so it wasn’t noticeable, electrolysis changed my life. This transformed me from a person who wouldn’t look you in the face, to being confident and presentable.

After doing lots of research on permanent hair removal I decided to try galvanic electrolysis and I’m so glad I did!
